Katsina State Government has revealed it will soon put Katsina City Mall into use for commercial and other business purposes.
The State Deputy Governor Alhaji Mannir Yakubu stated this when he inspected the mall.
The Deputy Governor explained that Government is looking into possibility of renting the mall to perspective
enterprenurs.
Alhaji Mannir Yakubu, who expressed satisfaction with the giant project, said the mall was located in good area.
According to him, in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Musa Kallah, the mall would be link with water supply and electricity.
He explained that government has started consultation with businesses people to identify those that will properly utilise the project.
He added that, the State Executive Council has directed the Committee to visit the mall for the purpose of putting it into use.
Alhaji Mannir Yakubu was accompanied by the Commissioner for Works and Housing, Tasi’u Ɗahiru Ɗanɗagoro and Special Adviser to the governor on Market Development, Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf during the visit.
