Ona of Abaji Hosts Young Farmers, Gives Nod to 1,000 Hectares of Secured Farmland Request

A delegation of Nigeria Young Farmers Network (NYFN) led by the Director General Mr. Promise Amahah, Hauwa Bako Mohammed the Executive Director Impact Investment, Jibrin Ahmed the North West Regional Coordinator, Mohammed Ahmed Abdullahi the North Central Coordinator, Angela Iruzuoke the National Coordinator for NYFN Women, Theophilus Apeh the FCT NYFN Farmily Coordinator and a host of others, were hosted by Alhaji Dr. Baba Adamu Yinusa, HRH Ona of Abaji, in his palace.

The visit was part of NYFN critical stakeholders consultation and collaboration.

The NYFN EXCO presented a certificate of recognition as Patron and member of Agribusiness Support & Advisory Council to His Royal Highness as a bond of commitment and support for NYFN.

In his welcome address, HRH expressed his joy at the progress of NYFN and acknowledged that the system, structure and strategy of NYFN is very unique and commendable.

He however called for more commitment and consistency in the network considering the numerous challenges in the country.

He also accepted our request for 1,000 hectares of secured farmland for our proposed NYFN Agrovillage and Center of Excellence in Abaji.
